My Veteran Family
My Veteran Family has all the data necessary for an exhaustive search of military records, but we are about so much more than just “name, rank and serial number” of the soldiers who courageously served our country. My Veteran Family offers numerous features that distinguish it from other military data and research websites:
- Created and designed to be both a research tool and a Living Memorial. Each soldier who served was a person, unique in their own right, with family and friends, a personality, hopes, dreams, and accomplishments. Most visitors will search these data bases to find someone they either knew or are related to. Perhaps you were siblings, cousins, classmates, co-workers or relatives separated by many generations. Maybe you are a veteran yourself; seeking information on those you served with and willing to tell your own story. My Veteran Family offers features that make it possible for you to share with others who these brave soldiers actually were, how they touched your life, and how much they meant to you. We urge and encourage each visitor to tell stories, share anecdotes, post pictures, leave obituaries and provide personal information, in order that this data base might come alive and be shaped into a Living Memorial to each soldier. All this material can easily be printed or downloaded for whatever purpose you choose.
- Offers greater search efficiency. Military records tend to be scattered and piecemeal. My Veteran Family has spent years researching, gathering and compiling records from every imaginable source worldwide into this one searchable and secure database. The entire military career of each soldier is provided in a single search. If a soldier, for example, fought in both WW II and in Korea, you do not have to search each war individually. Their entire service record, however limited or extensive, is included by merely searching with their name.
- Includes military personnel records from every US war: Revolutionary War, War of 1812, Mexican American War, Civil War, Spanish American War, World War I & II, Korean War, Cold War, Viet Nam War, Gulf War, War in Afghanistan, and the War in Iraq.
- Includes information, reports and stories about wars and battles. My Veteran Family will help you understand the significance and severity of battles that were fought. What happened to various naval ships? What the soldiers went through, the medals and awards they earned, and the hardships they endured.
- One fee gives you total access to all of the data. There are no additional charges of any kind within this website. All of our data is available to you for one upfront fee.
My Veteran Family is a project and a passion that has been unfolding for the past 40 years. It has been an enormous undertaking that will never be finished until we can finally account for all our military missing and dead. Our pledge to you is that we will continue to add credible data whenever it is available. If you possess information we do not have we would be pleased to hear from you.
Thank you for visiting My Veteran Family, and helping make it a valuable resource and Living Memorial. We are all truly family in this endeavor and we are grateful for your partnership. It is our dream that My Veteran Family will bring generations together so we will never forget the sacrifices made by the brave men and women who went before us.
